So you've seen the carnivorous plant collection we have on display, but you've never seen the plants in action, how does it all work? Come get an in-depth look at the various mechanisms employed by carnivorous plants. And, even some of the beneficial relationships shared by these plants and other animals. Our Assistant Manager and Naturalist Jessica Helmbold took a Masters level class on carnivorous plants and will share what she's learned with us.

We have teamed up with our dear friend Chad Williams of Indiana Insectivores to create a stunning display of predator plants in the Gazebo Room. In the Conservatory you will then get to see our personal diverse carnivorous plant collection, with educational signage about each plant. We have native Indiana predator plants as well as our usual plethora of tropical ones. This is a display you won't want to miss.
There will also be carnivorous plants for sale.
Admission is $7 per person | $15 per family (with cash or card, at the door only!)
Saturday Hours: 10 AM - 5 PMSunday Hours: 1 PM - 5 PM
