Anyone can draw! Develop fundamental drawing skills and techniques to kick-start or advance your artistic journey. Weekly step-by-step exercises will build your confidence in drawing the world around you.
Topics Covered
In this class you will be introduced to drawing vocabulary, history, and tools to begin to see like an artist. Weekly exercises will be presented to teach topics such as scale, proportion, perspective, and balance. You will have the opportunity to experiment with mark making, line quality and value as you learn to create dynamic compositions. Emphasis will be placed on observational drawing of 3-D forms with black and white drawing materials.
