Follow the Pin Oak loop, a paved 1/2 mile trail located in front of the Earth Discovery Center, to view labeled spring woodland wildflowers and informational signage about their identification and natural history.
The full self-guided trail will be available April 7-April 26 (some signs may go up sooner as the earliest wildflowers begin blooming). Visit more than once to see how what's in bloom on the trail changes each week! Free with park admission ($6/vehicle Marion County resident, $7/vehicle out of county).
Don't miss Wildflower Weekend, April 11 and 12, for even more wildflower hikes and activities!
Trail is available during Eagle Creek Park open hours, 7am-8:30pm. The Earth Discovery Center building is open 10am-5pm Tues-Sat, 1pm-5pm Sunday, closed Mondays.
