Bilingual Nature Series: Medicinal Plant Walk/Caminata de Plantas Medicinales

We will be taking a walk at Holliday Park to learn about native plants and their medicinal properties. We will also have an opportunity to harvest some plants, while learning how to ask for permission from the plant and also offer it something in return. We will then use the plants

we harvested to make some medicine for you to take home. We will be meeting in the Outdoor Classroom behind the Nature Center at 2 pm on Saturday, September 19th.

Tomaremos una caminata por el Parque Holliday para aprender sobre las plantas nativas y sus propiedades medicinales. También tendremos la oportunidad de cosechar algunas plantas y aprender cómo pedirle permiso a la planta y ofrecerle algo a cambio. Usando las plantas

cosechadas, haremos nuestras propias medicinas para llevar a casa. Nos reuniremos en el Salón al Aire Libre detrás del Centro de Naturaleza a las 2 pm el Sábado, 19 de septiembre.
