Description

Refine your flameworking skills and personal art style in this self-directed independent study session. You'll find camaraderie and inspiration among your fellow makers as you explore your creative process, practice conceptualization, and master your use of tools and hand-sculpting. Guidance and problem-solving techniques are offered as you need it, but this is your chance to work out your ideas and sculpt on your own.

Students are responsible for purchasing and bringing their own glass whether you work with 104 Moretti or 33 borosilicate COE. Tools and didymium glasses are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Class Studio Policy

Students must wear cotton shirt, pants, & closed toe shoes. No sandals, shorts, or synthetics.
This studio has high heat temperatures, bottled water is recommended.
Must have full vision capabilities, gripping strength with both hands, and adequate hand-eye coordination.
