The Howth Aquathon is set in the quite fishing village in Howth, North Co. Dublin.

This event aims to provide our participants a safe environment to enjoy a sea swim of 1000m or 500m followed by run of 6km or a 3 km run along Howth's seafront.

Participants include complete beginners, recreational athletes and seasoned triathletes.

Event details and schedule

On night sign on opens at 1800hrs

Long Course Registration closes at 1845hrs

Short Course Registration closes at 1845hrs

Race Briefing at transition area at 1900hrs

Long Course Start: 1000m swim and 6 km run will commence at 1915hrs

Short Course Start: 500m swim and 3 km run will commence at ~1945hrs (or whenever last person exits the swim from Long Race)

Prize Giving will be at the race finish area at 2030 hrs to 2100 hrs or as the last person crosses the line. We encourage everyone to stay around the finish to support everyone.
