Magic! A giant storm! A shipwreck! Using found objects and fabric, participants will mount a barebones, abbreviated version of Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” over the course of a two-week workshop. We will focus on the actor tools of body, voice and imagination to create our own theatrical interpretation as well as original songs. This workshop is led by Blake Upper School theater teachers Taous Khazem and Aaron Gabriel. Please pack a nut-free lunch, snack and two water bottles for your child each day. Refrigerators and microwave ovens are not available.
