We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Saturday, December 16, 2023.
Get bundled up and strap on your favorite hiking boots as we set out in search of elusive owls. Enjoy after-dark access in the forest preserve. Along the way, discover just how many species of owls reside in Will County and how to differentiate them. Learn how big they can get, what they look like and where you can find them. Afterward, warm up by a fire and enjoy some roasted marshmallows.
Be sure to dress for weather and trail conditions. The hike will be approximately 1 mile to 2 miles over uneven, natural terrain.
The program will begin at the furthest parking lot, at Hawthorn Grove Shelter.
