Join naturalist Katrine Dickau for some easy-paced fitness walks around Beaver Brook and other local trails. Enjoy a guided walk covering ~ 3 miles each day. Learn new trails, meet new hiking companions and see what nature has to offer. Participants need be able to walk at a pace of about 2 mph. Wear insect repellent for insects and ticks. Walks will take place rain or shine unless risky weather. Everyone participating in Beaver Brook programs must follow these guidelines: 1. Everyone must meet with a face mask. his will be worn when meeting in a circle but may be removed during hiking. 2. Space yourself 6' from others. Try to walk single file. 3. Leader will have handwipes and sanitizer. 4. Participants must read and answer a COVID questionnaire prior to class.
