About this event
This one-hour private session is designed to evaluate how your dog responds during real-life walks around other dogs and people. We'll work in a controlled environment to observe what's happening and better understand your dog's behavior on leash. During the session we will: -identify your dog's triggers and threshold -assess their current skills and coping ability -start introducing practical strategies for improvement Depending on the weather, we may work both outdoors and inside the shelter. The shelter setting allows us to safely set up scenarios with other dogs and people at controlled distances, so we can work at your dog's comfort level without overwhelming them. You will leave the session with specific exercises to work on and guidance on the next steps. This is not a quick fix session. Most dogs will need follow-up work at home and/or additional private training to see lasting change, and we'll talk through what that looks like for your individual dog. This session is for dogs over 4 months who are up to date on Rabies and DA2PP vaccines, following your veterinarian's guidance.
