Take your drawing skills to the next level in this four-week intermediate drawing class designed for artists who have a basic understanding of drawing fundamentals and are ready to expand their techniques. Through focused instruction and hands-on practice, students will refine their skills while developing a deeper understanding of realism, composition, and visual storytelling. Students will explore advanced concepts including a deeper dive into perspective, lighting, and composition to create more dynamic and realistic artwork. Lessons will include building portraits from scratch, studying facial structure and proportions, and practicing techniques for capturing texture, depth, and realistic details. Working with graphite, charcoal, and other drawing materials, participants will strengthen their observational skills and learn how to approach complex subjects with greater confidence. Each session will encourage thoughtful problem-solving, artistic expression, and the development of a personal drawing style. By the end of the course, students will have expanded their technical abilities, gained a stronger understanding of realism, and created original artwork that showcases their continued growth as artists.
