Participants will explore the fundamentals of outdoor painting while learning to capture light, color, texture, and atmosphere from direct observation. Whether you're a beginner or experienced artist, this workshop offers a creative opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and strengthen your artistic skills in an inspiring outdoor setting. All materials included. Once this session is complete, we invite you to stay for our Sweet Summer Concert Series, Monthaven’s popular outdoor music extravaganza. Launched during the summer of 2022, the series is held on the lawn of beautiful Monthaven mansion. Food trucks and beverage tents are available to provide refreshments to visitors, who are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their love for music. Guitarist Stacy Mitchhart is the musical act.
