Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, July 24, 2026.
The Haslett High School Swim programs have teamed up to host Blake Pieroni, US Olympic Gold Medalist in the 2016 and 2020 games, at the Haslett Community Pool. He'll be hosting a special clinic focusing on starts, turns, and stroke techniques for our local competitive swimmers.
To help everyone get the most out of this experience, it is designed for athletes with competitive swimming experience (e.g., a competitive club team, middle school team, or high school team) rather than for recreational swimmers or a traditional lesson format. Swimmers should be comfortable swimming all 4 strokes, doing flip turns, and diving off a starting block. Activities for both sessions will include small group work, individual video critiques, and feedback from Blake.
Morning Session: Competitive swimmers 12 and under
Mid-Day Fun (All Swimmers): Join us for pizza, a lively Q&A session, and photo opportunities with Blake, making this event both exciting and memorable for everyone involved!
Afternoon Session: Competitive swimmers 13 and over
We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to our local swim community through this event that also serves as a fundraiser for the Haslett High School Swim and Dive teams. We hope your athlete can be part of this memorable experience!
What should I bring?
Swimmers should bring a one-piece suit, goggles, cap, towel, and water bottle.
