The Haslett Middle School Swim Team is again running through the Haslett Seahawks Swim Club, Co-Coached by the Seahawks staff, focusing on improving competitive swim skills, fostering a strong work ethic through practices and multiple swim meets, and positive team-building skills every day! The team will participate in the Capital Area Middle School League and MISCA meets. Therefore, athletes must be 2025/2026 Haslett Middle School students.
This team is open to all Haslett Students in 6th—8th grades during the 2025/2026 school year! Due to the number of pool lanes and the swimmer-to-coach ratio, there is a maximum number of swimmers, and spots are first-come, first-served.
Practices and home meets will be held at the Haslett Community Pool (Haslett High School). Away meets will be held at schools throughout the area. Please note that transportation is not provided for any meets.
Practices will be 6:00-7:15 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from December 1 to January 22. There are no practices over Winter Break, during HHS Boys Home Meets, or in the event of a pool closure. If a swimmer qualifies for the MISCA state meet, practices will run until 1/31 for those swimmers only.
Cost: $110 per swimmer (includes coaching, swim cap, and T-shirt). Swimmers must bring goggles, a towel, and a competitive-fit one-piece bathing suit. If you need financial assistance, please call Community Education at (517) 339-2665 before the online registration opens.
