Become a leader on the sidelines! We are looking for enthusiastic 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students to build school spirit and support our Viking football teams this fall. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and be part of a team—no prior experience is necessary to join!

The Commitment

• The Season: Approximately 6 Wednesday evening games throughout September and October.

• August Practice: Mondays and Wednesdays (Evenings).

• School-Year Practice: Mondays after school (once games begin).

Space is limited! Registration is first-come, first-served and may fill up before the deadline. Please note that this program overlaps with 7th and 8th-grade Volleyball.

Kick-off Meeting & Uniform Fitting

Attendance is mandatory for both athletes and parents/guardians to ensure a smooth start to the season.

• When: Monday, May 18 @ 6:00 PM

• Where: Haslett Community Education, 1590 Franklin St.
  (use North entrance on the back of the building)

• Can't make it? We’d love to see everyone there since this is vital for season preparations. If you have an unavoidable conflict and absolutely cannot attend the meeting, please email Coach Sestak at hmscoachsestak@gmail.com as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements

• Deadline: Registration closes Friday, May 29.

What You’ll Need to Provide

To complete the look and keep the team running smoothly, families are responsible for:

• Gear: White cheer shoes, white no-show socks, navy blue under-shorts (spankies), and a navy blue mock turtleneck.

• Transportation: Parents/guardians are responsible for transport to and from all practices and games.

• Volunteer Spirit: We love our parent volunteers! Background-checked volunteers are needed for practices, games, and concessions.
