About this event
Creating a sculpture requires a combination of creativity and patience. With practice and dedication, anyone can learn to create beautiful sculptures that capture the imagination and inspire awe. This six-week exploration of line, shape, and form has been specifically designed for new students. Participants will use simple sculpture techniques (additive & subtractive) such as wood, wire, and other materials to create small sculptures. The emphasis will be on 3-D design. Finishing options including painting, coating, and base construction.
