Join us for our Olympic Lifting Clinics With Brian Pirone on Saturday, April 25th & Saturday, May 2nd!
Each clinic will include a 7 hour block from 9:00am-4:00pm. 3 hours of training in the morning, 1 hour break in between, and 3 hours of training in the afternoon.
Day 1 – Snatch Development
• Focus: Pull from the Power Position for the Snatch • Teaching proper bar path and explosive hip extension• Power Position Snatch Pulls• High Pull from Power Position• Hang Power Snatch• Full Snatch Technique Progression• Mobility drills for shoulders, hips, and thoracic spine• Coaching bar path correction
Day 2 – Clean & Jerk
• Focus: Clean & Jerk Technique• Clean Pull Mechanics• Hang Power Clean• Full Clean Progression• Jerk Dip and Drive Mechanics• Push Jerk and Split Jerk Technique• Footwork drills for the split• Live lifting corrections and athlete feedback
Brian Pirone – Coach, Champion, and Olympic Weightlifting Educator
Brian Pirone is a nationally recognized Olympic weightlifter, coach, and sports performance educator known for combining elite competitive experience with a deep understanding of human performance. A three-time National Champion, three-time Pan-American Champion, and two-time champion at the prestigious Arnold Sports Festival, Pirone has built a reputation as one of the most technically proficient and respected athletes in masters Olympic weightlifting.
Competing in the 40–45 age division in the 109+ kg weight class, Pirone holds three national records in Olympic weightlifting. His achievements include a 153 kg Clean & Jerk and a 125 kg Snatch, and total of 278 kg marks that demonstrate both exceptional strength and technical mastery in the sport of Olympic weightlifting. His performances have set the standard in his division and earned him recognition among the top masters lifters in the United States.
Beyond competition, Pirone is deeply committed to the science and education behind athletic performance. He earned his Masters degree's in Kinesiology and Sports Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he developed a strong foundation in biomechanics, motor learning, and athlete development. This academic background has become a cornerstone of his coaching philosophy, allowing him to bridge the gap between sport science and real-world athletic performance.
Today, Pirone travels across the United States conducting specialized Olympic lifting clinics at CrossFit gyms and sports performance facilities. His seminars focus on helping athletes and coaches understand the biomechanics, timing, and technical precision required to master the Clean & Jerk and the Snatch. By breaking down complex movements into practical, teachable components, Pirone empowers athletes of all levels—from beginners to competitive lifters—to improve efficiency, reduce injury risk, and unlock greater power.
Known for his direct coaching style, technical insight, and passion for athlete development, Brian Pirone continues to impact the strength and conditioning community by sharing the lessons learned from decades of training, competition, and study. Through his clinics, coaching, and mentorship, he remains dedicated to advancing the sport of Olympic weightlifting and helping the next generation of athletes perform at their highest level.
