Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! Get ready for an unforgettable week of nature exploration, hands-on STEAM challenges, and outdoor adventure! Campers will immerse themselves in the great outdoors while learning about sustainability, building their own solar ovens to make s’mores, developing map-reading and navigation skills, and taking on creative challenges along the way. For a unique twist this week, JMC will have exclusive use of the entire Camp Gunnison facility! Nestled along the Gunnison River, Camp Gunnison will serve as our home base for a week of exploration, learning, and outdoor fun. For Day Camp, JMC staff will transport campers from campus to Camp Gunnison at 9 a.m. and return them to campus by 5 p.m. each day. Want to make the adventure last even longer? Choose the overnight option! Campers in 5th–6th grade can turn the week into a full overnight adventure at Camp Gunnison! Campers will stay in comfortable dorms with access to a full-service dining hall, bathrooms, and showers. Days will be filled with JMC Great Outdoors activities, while evenings offer time to relax, roast marshmallows, and build friendships alongside JMC Instructors. It's a great opportunity to gain independence, connect with nature, and make unforgettable memories. Campers in 2nd–4th grade can also join the overnight adventure Wednesday–Friday! Field Trip: TBD
