Adventure awaits in Colorado’s backcountry! During this weeklong off-site camping experience in Crested Butte, campers will take on five days of outdoor exploration, with activities ranging from summitting Mount Crested Butte, stand up paddle boarding at Long Lake, hiking amongst the wildflowers, plein air art, and more! Campers will disconnect from technology to connect with nature, friends, and outdoor adventure. Day 1: Arrival to Gunnison & JMC / Camp on WCU Campus Day 2: Depart for Oh Be Joyful Campground / Hike Day 3: Mountain Bike Lower & Upper Loop Day 4: Nature-Based Art at Gunsight Bridge Day 5: Summit Mt. Crested Butte / Astronomy & Star Gazing Day 6: Paddle Boarding at Long Lake / Return to WCU Campus / Depart JMC *Schedule subject to change*
