Get ready to tinker, test, and create in the Mini Makers Lab, a hands-on STEM camp where curiosity leads the way! Designed for students in Grades 2-3, this camp invites young scientists and inventors to explore chemistry, technology, and maker-style engineering through exciting experiments and creative builds.

Expect to see: Hands-on chemistry experiments, creative building and maker challenges, beginner-friendly tech activities, mentor visits from topic experts, and lots of messy fun!
Mini-Makers Lab is for youth entering Grades 2 & 3 in September 2026.

Camp will take place Monday-Friday from 9 AM-4 PM. This summer we are offering Extended Care (optional, for an additional flat fee) in which campers can be dropped off starting at 8:10 AM and picked up any time between 4-4:50 PM. You can opt into Extended Care upon registering a camper for a given camp week. Please note that campers in grade 6 or higher are permitted to be designated for “Self Sign-Out” of themselves and younger siblings. All of our camps are based out of Albert A. Thornbrough and Richards Building (Engineering Buildings on the U of G’s main campus) unless stated otherwise.
Parents/guardians will be emailed a “Pre-Camp Package” prior to camp with specific pick-up/drop-off locations and further details.
