While at this local sneaker retail store, we will explore silhouettes, color palettes, and material language for inspiration. Corey will then guide participants through foundational design principles, concept development, and the step-by-step process of sketching and designing their own original sneaker concept. This workshop is beginner friendly, suitable for middle and high school aged students, and aligns with GCCA’s mission to support creative exploration while also bringing in cultural relevance, community connection, and a fresh perspective to design.
