Experience bird-watching beyond Glen Ellyn. Join our Natural Areas staff as we take the Park District bus to a regional hotspot for viewing winter waterfowl. During this time of year, there are more than Mallards and Canada Geese swimming in area lakes. See exotic plumage and maybe even some spectacular courting displays. You'll never look at ducks the same way again. Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars. A limited number of optics will be available for loan. Dress for weather conditions, especially wind. This program will be canceled in the event of rain or hazardous travel conditions.
