UPDATE: Due to the cherry blossom "peak" on the UW campus starting several weeks before the date originally planned for this trip, an email was sent on March 16 and 17 to those already registered or on the waitlist for this trip.

We quickly organized a quick trip to the campus, on March 23, to view the cherry blossoms there before they begin to fade out. That component of our April 10 trip is no longer included.
SO - If not going to the UW campus changes your interest in the Friday, April 10 trip to the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Seattle Center, we can refund that fee at your request. Here’s a link to the Festival: Home Page - Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival. It’s worthy of its own trip. We’re shortening the hours of the trip to leave the Rec Center at 9, returning by 4, rather than 5. That will allow us to leave Seattle a bit earlier, hopefully ahead of the worst traffic. But it allows several hours to explore the Festival and the Seattle Center itself. Please let us know what you want to do.
