Description

Building on skills learned in previous drawing classes, we will explore more complicated scenes and handling of materials. Pencil, charcoal and pen and ink will be used.

Prerequisite required: Fundamentals of Drawing, Intro to Drawing or other drawing experience.

ebony or #6B pencil pack, sharpener, box of vine charcoal, 1-2 compressed (Square) charcoal sticks (not pencils), blending/smudging sticks, white chalk/white conte crayon, large kneaded eraser, fixative spray (for outdoor use), waterproof india ink (sumi or higgins brand), bamboo brush (medium #4 or 6), watercolor pad 9x12'', large drawing pad (spiral bound 11x14 or larger), black micron waterproof pen
