A drawing course focusing on pencil work beginning with qualities of line, basic geometric shapes, values studies and forms while reviewing materials. Artists will be drawing a still life with step-by-step instruction for beginning level, and more complex still life's for advanced levels. The class will also use photographs as reference. The course will provide drawing opportunities for every level whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist. Taught by instructor Doris Bryant.
Bring your own supplies (Newsprint pad 14"x17" or larger, Strathmore Drawing pad 14"x17", Drawing pencils, HB, 2B, 6B, Drawing board or foam core board, 20"x24", Kneaded eraser, Blending stumps, Ruler, and Hand held sharpener).
