West Coast Swing (WCS) is a world-wide dance phenomenon. Improvisation, partner interaction and dancing to the songs you hear on the radio all combine to make WCS a FUN dance experience.This in-person class is designed for those who are comfortable with WCS basics and want to take it to the next level. WCS is a popular lead-follow partner swing dance that can be danced to pop, R&B, blues - a variety of musical genres! It emphasizes non-verbal conversation, with partners encouraged to play, improvise and interpret within WCS's overall structure. Please wear smooth-sole shoes so you can move comfortably and safely; no slide-on shoes.Partners are required for the class. Rotating partners is preferred but not required.All students register as individuals.
