Join Kathie Mack and Steve Rocque from the Montgomery History Speaker Bureau as they present the life and work of Frances Perkins at the center. Ms. Perkins was the first woman to serve in a U.S. Presidential cabinet and a driving force behind FDR's New Deal. As Secretary of Labor, she helped create Social Security and championed fair wages and safer working conditions. Her vision and determination reshaped the American workforce and inspired generations of reformers.
