About this event
Six IN-PERSON Sessions March 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23 As I surveyed all the courses I’ve taught for BULLI over the past 23 years I realized what wide-ranging times, authors, genres and topics are included. In this course, let’s explore this width and celebrate the inspiration it offers. We’ll begin with EMERSON: THE MIND ON FIRE by ROBERT D. RICHARDSON, JR., and then move to different genres and ideas. These will include some brief essays, poems, and a couple of short stories, all of which I will provide. Hopefully, they will set our minds on fire as well. This will be 30% reading, 20% shocking, and 50% fun! Bill Coates has degrees in English, Religion and History, and a Ph.D. in American literature. Mostly he loves people and loves teaching.
