Ages 18+
Students will learn some basic drawing skills, perspective, color theory and the techniques of using tube acrylic paints on canvas. This course is for all levels of artist from beginner to pro. Students will work at their own pace and take as many sessions as needed to complete their paintings. Bring your imagination. Wear old clothing: the paint will fly. The class is not just to learn in a casual atmosphere but to have fun and enjoy the learning experience.
Important Update: New Recreation Registration SystemWe're moving to a new and improved registration system called RecTrac! Here's what you need to know:- Create Your Account: Starting May 4th, 2026, you can create your new RecTrac account by going to the Town of Fuquay-Varina PRCR website.- Full Switch to RecTrac: All program registration will happen in RecTrac starting Monday, June 1st, 2026.- May Programs: Registration for May programs and Senior Trips will remain open in ActiveNet until Saturday, May 30th. You will not be able to register for May programs after May 30th.- June-August Programs: Registration for June-August programs will open in RecTrac on Monday, June 1st.
