In this six-week series, attendees will gain a greater understanding of brain related changes associated with normal aging and dementia, learn how to support someone living with dementia and gain insight for safely aging in place. Heather has more than 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist with older adults and holds certifications for dementia specific consulting and training through Positive Approach to Care - Teepa Snow. Meets every Monday from September 8 through October 13 - six classes.
