Ever wonder how to play the Didgeridoo? Now’s your chance to try it out in this one-time introductory class featuring the world’s oldest musical instrument from Indigenous Australia. Led by Global Didgeridoo Maverick and Frederick newcomer Pitz Quattrone, this session offers a fun, hands-on introduction to the instrument, focusing on getting comfortable with sound production and basic technique—no experience required.
With over 30 years of global performing, hand-crafting, and teaching experience, Pitz brings an easy, approachable teaching style that makes the Didgeridoo accessible for everyone. Participants are welcome to bring their own Didgeridoos, and Pitz will have his handcrafted, easy-to-play instruments available to explore during class. Enjoy the experience? You can choose to then sign up for an upcoming three-week series, where techniques such as rhythm, pitch, and circular breathing are explored in greater depth.
