Come dance with us as we explore and participate in various dance styles important in the lives of people who lived and worked at Rose Hill Manor and the Frederick area. Complimenting our 250th exhibit, In Search of Freedom, In this series will dive into the ideas of Freedom of Expression and the impacts of cultural diffusion on American dance. We will try dances like the Minuet, the Charleston and learn steps that have their origins in West African cultures brought to the area in the 18th century. Sign up for all three sessions or just one. No dance experience necessary.
