Living Real Life In A Digital WorldThis interactive class helps senior adults navigate today’s online world with confidence and safety. Participants will learn practical strategies for protecting personal information, creating strong passwords, recognizing phishing attempts, and managing privacy on social media. The course also introduces emerging topics like artificial intelligence, online scams, and staying current with evolving technologies. Designed as an ongoing series, Living Real Life In A Digital World provides the tools and knowledge needed to handle digital challenges while enjoying the benefits of staying connected.
This program is offered in partnership with the University of Tennessee Extension office of Williamson County. It is FREE but registration is encouraged to reserve your seat as space is limited.
Get to know your instructor:Lindell Austin is a creative educator, coach, and designer with nearly two decades of experience inspiring students and communities through innovation, leadership, and storytelling. He has taught middle school science, leadership, TV production, and digital graphics while also managing marketing, branding, and social media for multiple campuses. Beyond education, Lindell is the founder of 65 Trails, an outdoor-inspired brand celebrating national and state parks, adventure, and exploration. A lifelong learner and motivator, he brings energy, authenticity, and vision to every project he takes on.
Lindell will be joined by Kim Cumbo, Family and Consumer Science Agent with the University of Tennessee Extension Office of Williamson County. She has a Masters of Science in Health Education and Behavior. She is also a certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and certified Personal Trainer and Senior Fitness Specialist.
