Because acrylic paints are so user friendly, they are the perfect medium for quick artistic progress!
Join experienced instructor Joan Wilkes to maximize your basic/intermediate acrylic painting skills. Learn through hands-on, guided practice using a variety of materials and techniques.
Enjoy exploring paint varieties, color mixing/blending, brushes/palette knives, canvas/wood/paper substrates, additives for texture/shine/opacity/transparency, methods for transferring images -- as well as how choosing a strong image, value structure, color theory, and composition can make or break your painting's impact. The confidence you gain will be evident in your next painting!
