About this event
Description
Franklin Rec CenterSaturday, January 24th10:00 am - 12:00 pmStart the new year by learning a creative and relaxing new skill. In this beginner-friendly workshop Meenakshi will guide you through the basics of paper quilling—a beautiful art form that transforms simple strips of paper into intricate designs.
During the class, you’ll create two projects:
- A quilled flower bookmark
- A floral design on a 5" × 7" canvas
You'll leave the class with:
- Two in-progress projects
- A take-home quilling kit with everything you need to complete these and future designs
The instructor will provide the necessary supplies for the project. A supply fee of $10.00 is due to the instructor at the beginning of class. If you already have paper quilling tools, feel free to bring those as an alternative to receiving supplies from the instructor.
Limited spacing available; pre-registration is required. Please direct all questions to Kaelyn Terry at Kaelyn.Terry@williamsoncounty-tn.gov. All credits/transfers/refunds must be processed with Kaelyn 48 hours prior to the start of class.
