Trinity 5000 Summer Series

Celebrate 41 years of running on the beautiful Trinity Trails in Fort Worth, Texas! Founded by Ricky Cox in 1985, the Trinity 5000 Summer Series is the longest-running event on this iconic trail system. Join us for this milestone summer series!

SERIES INFO

• Participants who register for the complete 12-race series will use the same sturdy custom bib each week—no standing in crowded lines for a new bib.

WHEN & WHERE

• Races: Every Thursday evening, June 4 – August 20, 2026

• Location: Trinity Trails Zero Mile Marker (parking near Haws Athletic Center, 600 Congress Street, Fort Worth)

• Race Dates: June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20 (Last Race & Series Awards)

STARTING TIMES

• 1K Kids Fun Run: 7:15 PM

• 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles): 7:30 PM

📍 Race day registration begins at 6:00 PM at the race site.
(Note: If 250-runner cap is reached, on-site registration may not be available. June 4 cap is 400 participants.)

COST

Complete 12-Race Series with Technical T-Shirt: $210

Single Race – Week 1 (June 4, 2026)

• First 200 registered participants: $35

• Last 200 registered participants: $40

• On Race Day (if not sold out): $45

Single Races – Week 2 through Week 12

• Without Shirt: $20

• With Shirt: $35

🏅 All participants finishing on June 4 will receive custom 41st Annual Trinity 5000 Summer Series Finisher Medals.
(Weeks 2–12: age group award medals only)

📌 You must be registered for all 12 races (series registration or combination of single races) to be eligible for the Series Survivor Award.

Trinity 5000 Point Series Awards

• Points will be tracked weekly after Week 3 online

Series Survivor Awards

• Given to all runners who participate in person in all 12 races

• Must be registered for all 12 races (series registration or combination of single races) to qualify

Kids 1K Fun Run

• All participants receive recycled medals
