This class does not qualify as an intro class for studio membership.

Throwing Larger: At least 6 lbs
3-week class
What’s the largest amount you can center easily? I can double that for you.
Have you ever said, “I didn’t start with enough clay”? I’ll show you how to add to what you’re throwing.
Projects for this class : Platter, bowl/planter & vase.
Prerequisite : Must have basic wheel throwing skills: wedging, centering, pulling, shaping and trimming.
Bring to class each week: A 25 lb. bag of cone 6 clay with grog, hand tools (needle tool, sponge, firm and flexible ribs, scoring tool, wire cutter) and hair dryer, heat gun or torch.
Week 3: also bring calipers. You will need an apron and/or towel.
Bisque firing is included in this class. Arrange pick up with the instructor.
