Silversmithing: Skill Building Class - The Art of the Cuff: Embellishments & Expression
Instructor: Sharon Williams
Seven weeks, Monday's, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
June 22nd - August 17th (no class on July 20th)
Workshop Overview
Explore the metal cuff as a canvas for creative expression. In this seven week hands-on class you will have the opportunity to use the rolling mill to press texture and pattern directly into metal. You will then embellish you cuff with a bezel set cabochon, tube stone settings and fabricated details such as metal flowers and decorative patterns.
More than a technique class, this experience is about artistic growth, learning to trust your eye, develop your voice and create a finished piece that is unmistakably yours.
