Night Club 2 Step can travel around the dance floor, stay as a stationary dance, or a combination of the two styles. This is found to be a popular style for many wedding couples because of its smooth, romantic, and yet relaxed characteristics. As it is popular in the country crowd it is also found to be a common dance found at West Coast Swing dances and events because the music tends to have the same emphasis on the '2' beat as West Coast Swing music just at a much slower tempo.
