Come learn the art of scientific illustration. Art teacher and illustrator Owen Curtsinger will lead a workshop on nature sketching. Slowing down and drawing a plant or animal is the best way to learn about our world. Brief drawing instruction will be provided. Supplies will be provide, but you are welcome to bring a sketchbook, pencils/erasers, colored pencils, an ultra-fine Sharpie or drawing pen, and an optional travel set of watercolors and watercolor paper
Admission added with registration. Pre-registration required. Hikes not designed for organized groups. Outdoor activity, come prepared.
Program is subject to cancellation unless a minimum of three participates register.
