Description
Glass-Stringer Illusions & Bubble Control Instructor, Megan Sutton
Three hour class, Monday May 11, 6pm - 9 pm
In this 3-hour workshop, participants will explore the use of stringers while learning how to create optical illusions and control bubbles between layers of glass. Students will cut and arrange stringers on flat glass and build their designs. Participants will complete two separate projects: one focused on creating an optical illusion with stringers and another that explores techniques for intentionally trapping and controlling bubbles. Each piece can be slumped after firing if desired. We'll cover basic glass cutting techniques, design tips and kiln-forming basics.
All materials and tools are provided. Just bring your creativity!
**You'll leave your piece behind to be fired in the kiln and can pick it up later or have it shipped.**
