*Important Note: Final performances take place during Thanksgiving week for this class. Because attendance at rehearsals and the performance is mandatory, please register only if your student is in town and available that week.
Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! In an all-encompassing theatrical experience, students learn acting, singing and dancing as well as production disciplines such as costumes, props, make-up and staging and use these skills to put on a performance in the Amaturo Theater. When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
Students are expected to attend the first day of class as auditions will be held to cast roles for the final performances. Students must be ready to participate in the class independently.
