Join Pelham's Competitive Swim Team - Be a Pelham Penguin!

The Pelham Penguins program will include three one‑hour practices per week and five Saturday swim meets throughout the summer.

This program is offered in partnership with the YMCA of Niagara and will be held at the Niagara Centre YMCA (310 Woodlawn Road) located on the campus of Niagara College. Due to the Pelham Pool being under construction this season, this partnership allows us to continue offering a high-quality swim team experience for our athletes.

This program is available to swimmers of any age who are able to swim one full length of the pool (25m) without assistance. There are out-of-town swim meets on Saturday morning throughout the summer. Competing in the meets is optional, however if the participant wants to swim in the Regional Meet at the end of the summer, he/she must participate in at least one meet throughout the season.

It is the responsibility of the swimmers and their parents to get to each meet. As part of the Niagara Summer Swim League, our Saturday meets take place at pools between Niagara Falls and Dunnville. Be sure to sign up early as space is limited to 70 swimmers and the team fills up quickly! Swim team coaches will notify the team for practice and meet times prior to the start of the season.
