Looking to feel more confident and in control on the trail? This women-only class is designed to help you progress from beginner riding to more technical terrain in a supportive, low-pressure environment. We'll focus on refining your body position, navigating climbs and descents more efficiently, and building the skills needed to ride with confidence and control.
You’ll learn:
- How to adjust your body position for steeper descents and more challenging climbs
- Technical uphill strategies like front wheel lifts, line choice for traction and clearance, and using momentum and gearing effectively
- How to stay balanced and in control on downhill features, including braking and body positioning
- The basics of safely rolling small drops
- Cornering skills for tighter turns and switchbacks, including leaning, bike-body separation, and sighting
Trail sessioning each week: practice specific trail features with coaching and repetition in a supportive space
Prerequisite: You should be comfortable riding green and easy blue trails, with basic experience in safe body positioning, using a dropper, shifting, braking, and cornering (from 102 or equivalent).
