Description
Please Join EPRD and CommonSpirit Health for the Stop the Bleed for Older Adults Class!
Stephanie Smith Raby of Common Spirit Health will be leading this life-saving course for the Active Adults Program at BPRC. Stop The Bleed trains bystanders to control life-threatening bleeding until professional help arrives, which can happen anywhere, at any time.
For older adults, this becomes more important as circulation and clotting abilities change as we age. Come learn how you can be of assistance, and train how to help those closest to you should an emergency arise.
This course will be taught on May 27th at 11:00am in the Bristlecone Lounge at BPRC. No registration is necessary, this is a free course for everyone! Snacks and light refreshments will be available for all attendees.
Please contact EPRD Active Adults Coordinator Nick Braden at nbraden@eprdco.gov for any questions.
