Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Looking to level up your skills from “intermediate” to “advanced?” Race-curious and trying to find more confidence and speed?
This women-specific clinic is designed for riders looking to sharpen intermediate-advanced trail skills, build efficiency, and link together different skills to tackle more complex trail obstacles.
This half day clinic includes focused skills development followed by a coached trail ride to apply what you’ve learned.
You’ll develop:- Cornering & Braking for Speed: Learn how to carry momentum through corners and modulate braking for smoother, faster riding
- Line Choice & Efficiency: Read terrain quickly, choose smarter lines, and flow through trail features with less effort
- Uphill Technique: Use front and rear wheel lifts to clear steep ledges and awkward step-ups with confidence
- Downhill Control: Master body position and braking for steeper descents and complex trail features
- Drops & Technical Features: Build on drop technique to tackle larger features with proper form and control
- Pumping & Jumping Basics: Use terrain to generate speed and learn the foundations of catching air safely
Prerequisite: This class is designed for experienced intermediate - advanced riders who are confident on blue and some black trails, but are looking to become faster & to clean more difficult features (you’ve completed our 202 class or equivalent). You are comfortable riding for 2-3 hours on a variety of terrain, including areas with rocky obstacles, switchbacks, and larger step ups/downs. Equipment: A well-maintained mountain bike with flat or clipless pedals, a dropper seatpost and hydraulic disk brakes is required. Helmets are mandatory; gloves and eye protection are strongly encouraged. This class will include a snack break between the skills and trail ride. Some light snacks will be available, but please bring your preferred snacks, water/hydration mix to ensure you’re maintaining energy for the trail ride. Weather can be variable, so a light jacket is encouraged as well.
