McGaw YMCA Indoor Triathlon
Give yourself a goal to stay motivated this winter and find your fit in stride for spring with the McGaw YMCA Indoor Triathlon. Perfect for beginners, weekend warriors and those preparing for outdoor triathlon season alike, participants compete based upon distance completed in the allotted time: 10-minute swim, 20-minute bike and 15-minute run. Be your best self in this fixed 60-minute recreational event with fellow Y members and our greater fitness community. Open to ages 11+. Youth ages 11-17 enjoy special youth-exclusive waves starting at noon, 12:15pm and 12:30pm.
When you join the McGaw YMCA Indoor Triathlon, your dues support the Y's non-profit mission of providing equitable access to programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all in our community.
Non-members, enjoy a free 5-day pass to the Y to experience your race day facilities and equipment in advance.
Day: Sunday, March 12
Time: 60-minute waves start between 8:00-11:15am
Format: 10-minute swim, 20-minute bike and 15-minute run Facilities: 6-Lane Pool (approx 80 degrees), Keiser spin bikes, treadmills
Prizes awarded for multiple age and recreational divisions Registration includes event t-shirt when enrolling by February 19.
Limit 60 participants. Registration ends February 26 or until space is filled. Register early to secure your preferred wave start time.
