The Ericson Lake Corporation brings the return of the 5K Fun Run to be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at Lake Ericson, located one mile south of Ericson, Nebraska.
The 5k Fun Run is for walkers and runners of all ages and levels. With the rolling Sandhills as a backdrop, the level course will weave you around beautiful Lake Ericson through a rural mixture of trails consisting of gravel, dirt, and sand.
As a non profit organization, the Ericson Lake Corporation strives to protect and promote wildlife and water conservation as well as to provide an environment in which to enjoy it. With your help we can raise much needed funds and increase awareness that will enhance the conservation and sustainability of Lake Ericson.
RACE DETAILS
Race begins at 8:30 on Saturday, June 13th. Packet pick-up will be Friday July 12th from 6-8pm. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be from 7:30 to 8:15a.m. Participants must have a signed waiver prior to packet pick-up, copies will be available at pick-up, if needed.
PRIZE GIVE-AWAY
All participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes donated by our sponsors. Prizes will consist of 2 divisions (Youth 17 and under or Adult 18 +) Prizes will be drawn after the race and you must be present to win.
