Whether you’re a complete beginner or just want to try something new, this session will be packed with practical self defence skills, confidence building, and lots of fun for everyone. Most importantly, every penny raised will help support one of our much-loved Level 1 coaches, Lucie Rodd. About Lucie ❤️ Before March 2026, Lucie was living a full and busy teenage life. She worked with us three days a week as a fantastic coach, while also thriving at school, enjoying sports, and being an incredible big sister to her siblings. She had even just started flying lessons, working towards her dream of becoming a pilot. Very suddenly, Lucie was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) — a condition that affects how the brain and body communicate. In Lucie’s case, it has severely affected her mobility and day-to-day independence, turning life upside down for both her and her family. Despite everything she is facing, Lucie continues to show incredible strength, positivity, and determination. Funds raised from this event will help support Lucie with: Specialist physiotherapy and rehabilitation Therapy and neurological support Educational tutoring while she is unable to attend school Additional support for her and her family during this incredibly difficult time We would love your support in helping Lucie on her road to recovery.
