These new Excel tools allow you to bring your work with Excel to a whole other level, from importing and sharing, importing and cleaning data, and modeling and calculating a large amount a data creating efficiencies, and so much more. Power Query - allows you to import and shape data. It has an easy to use interface, powerful tools to import and clean data. Power Pivot Tables - allows data modeling and calculations. It easily handles millions of rows of data and has modeling tools for efficient data storage and analysis. Power BI (Business Intelligence) - is a complete business intelligence tool. It features incredible visual options, has simple built-in interactive options, fantastic graphs and allows easy sharing of data. The design of this course includes 2-3 hours of work with the software between classes to gain maximum benefits from the sessions. You will want to have Microsoft Excel on your computer for this workshop and many people find it helpful to have two monitors, though it is certainly not necessary to benefit from the sessions. There are two ways to accomplish this: 1) attach an external screen to your computer (contact our program if you need technical assistance with that); or 2) using two computers (one for Excel and the other for the ZOOM meeting).
